This is my second attempt at putting together an electronic version of the L-5 Newsletter (the first was a failure). I've used the MS Word 6.0 format and put everything in a "zip" file for compactness. There are 14 pages in all that can be printed on standard paper both single or double-sided, although the latter is how the hard copy was mailed out. The whole file is almost 500kb so it may take up to 5 minutes to download on a slow connection, so go make a cup of coffee, walk the dog, or whatever if this is the case. You'll need Winzip, PKzip, or a similar program to open the file once it is downloaded. (PKzip is freeware and is available many places on the internet)

 If any one has trouble opening the "zip" file or opening and printing any of the MS Word pages, please let me know and I'll try something else. Some of the earlier versions of MS Word or other word processor programs may have difficulty and could end up printing incorrectly. Page 5 in particular may be troublesome since it is a large JPG image of some plans that you may have to manipulate to get it to print on an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of paper.

Let me know how it all turns out, and even if it is OK send me some feedback please. Perhaps, in the future, if the club can afford to purchase Adobe Writer (quite pricey) we will have a more "professional" system.
